Title: Carrot, Leek And Olive Stew
<snip>
1/2 c Ripe plives; pitted and
-chopped
This recipe would vary a lot depending on what sort of olives were used.
The restaurant here has a dish they call chicken mediterranean. It has
feta cheese, typical black olives and other stuff cooked which is on top
of the chicken. My wife does not like the flavor of the cooked black
olives. But, she prepares a similar dish that has kalamata olives
cooked with the chicken and likes it.
This does not cook the olives, but it is good. The comments about
dehydrating are because this is one of the recipes that we sent to our
son when he was in the Army and stationed in the mid-east. The Army is
not really very vegetarian friendly.
