Title: Pohe (Flattened Rice For Breakfast)
    Categories: Indian
    Yield: 4 servings

That sent me scurrying for the Bing search engine. I did not know of
the existance of "flattened rice" before your post of this recipe.

"Flattened rice is a type of rice dish made from raw, toasted, or
parboiled rice grains pounded into flat flakes. They are eaten as is,
toasted, fried, or used as ingredients or toppings for other dishes.
Depending on their use, they can be crispy, crunchy, chewy, or soft
in texture with a light nutty flavour. They are traditional to many
rice-cultivating cultures in Southeast Asia and South Asia. It is also
known variously as rice flakes, beaten rice, pounded rice, or
    pressed rice." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flattened_rice

IOW - analagous to rolled and/or quick oats.

This recipe will be converted to Uncle Dirty Dave's Kitchen as soon as
I check with Asian Market and/or Masala Mart for ingredients.
