22 October 1797 - A GUTSY PARACHUTIST TAKES A PLUNGE OVER PARIS: Inspired
by his time confined behind the high ramparts of a Hungarian prison,
French balloonist André-Jacques Garnerin floats 3,200 feet above Paris, releases the hydrogen balloon from his new invention the parachute, and
under a 23-foot wide canopy he descends safely to the ground.

    Title: Balloon Buns
    Categories: Five, Breads, Snacks
    Yield: 10 servings

    16.3 oz Tube buttermilk biscuits
    10 lg Marshmallows
    1 1/2 ts Butter (approx)
    1/4 c Ground cinnamon
    1/4 c Sugar

    Set oven @ 425ºF/218ºC.

Combine sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Melt butter in a
bowl. Take one marshmallow and tightly seal it inside of
one biscuit. Roll the bun in the melted butter, covering
it completely. Then roll it in the cinnamon/sugar
    mixture covering it completely.

    Place it a 9" X 13" cake pan. DO NOT use a cookie sheet;
t he marshmallow may leak out and run off into your oven.
Repeat process until you use all of the biscuits.

    Bake 8 - 10 minutes.

Press lightly on the buns; if they spring back they are
done. These are best if served warm-hot. ENJOY!!
