    Godfather's Pizza (regional chain)

It's actually a national chain but shrinking in size and no longer
found in every state. There is a Canadian Godfather's Pizza too,
but there is no connection between them. Somebody in Ontario
capitalised on their name and registered the trade name quickly here.

    Jones Soda in their dispensers.

I didn't know Jones sodas could be found in restaurant dispensers,
just small bottles at stores. They are a superior product compared
to the mega giant companies' products and they have no HFCS, just
real cane syrup, so they are worth their premium price.

    Cheers

    Jim

Funny, they seem to be expanding here. Just opened a new store a couple
months ago. Their pizza is pretty sucky but the buffet is nice. The one
nearest my home is popular with tour buses .... so if I'm going in the afternoon/early evening I visit one further away from me.

At lunch they often have deep-fried chicken livers on the serving line.
In my eyes, that's a HUGE plus. Bv)=

I will sometimes sample one of the more esoteric flavours. But not often.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

    Title: Jonestown Punch
Categories: Five, Beverages, I scream, Booze
    Yield: 8 Servings

    1 pt Raspberry sherbet
    1 pt Vanilla ice cream
    1 qt Raspberry ginger ale
    Southern Comfort

    Special equipment: Punch bowl

In punch bowl, place raspberry sherbet and raspberry
ginger ale. Next put in vanilla ice cream (it will foam
less this way). Add in Southern Comfort to taste.

VARIATION: Use orange sherbet and plain ginger ale for a
    "creamsicle" punch.

Makes a half-gallon plus (depending on how much Southern
    Comfort is added).
