    Apologies not required. I can appreciate the usefulness of ebooks. I have a 1s
    gen Kobo (circa 2009?). I rarely use it - but it has been handy to read someth
    ing that I want when I've been in waiting rooms.

    I still prefer the printed word but sometimes an ebook is sure handy. Especially when it is something that is otherwise out of print!

    I've enjoyed some of the now public domain writings offered at
    Gutenberg Press on my Kobo. I thought Joseph Conrad's "The
    Secret Agent" (1907) was pretty good.
