• money for MS software

From August Abolins@2:460/58 to All on Sat Jan 2 05:55:46 2021

Has anyone else seen the tv commercials about claiming money for old MS software? It promotes the following website:

" Did you buy PC versions of Microsoft MS-DOS, Windows, Office, Word, Works, and/or Excel between 1998 and 2010 for use in Canada?ÿ If so, you might be eligible for compensation. "

The commercial has been playing for at least a couple weeks now.

    Either,

[1] change the http to just http, or
    [2] use http://thatsuitemoney.ca, or
    [3] use https://www.thatsuitemoney.ca

It's legit. Microsoft lost a class action lawsuit:

You can fill out the form (and add several entries) to get up to $250 without needing to provide recipts. If you want to claim more than that you'll need
    to provide paperwork.

The payouts for each individual product are small. But if we can
just fill up the list with every known version of DOS and Windows
and other various MS products to reach close to $250, then that
is not too bad a deal. I wouldn't have the receipts for much of
    *anything* over 10 years ago.

    Have you finished your claim?

"Court-approved legal fees of roughly $100 million will be
deducted from the settlement, as will the cost of ads. "

The lawyers are big winners here.

"Any money that isn't claimed will be returned to Microsoft."

    We can't let THAT happen!
