    Hi Andy,

How large a hard disk can the Atari ST use? Related:
were there link adaptors that didn't require parity checking
to be disabled at the disk drives?

There's an FAQ here that might help:

    Take care,

    To which Drew Klenotic replies...

It really depends on the driver and hardware... some host adapters have more limitations than others. However, they are still making updated drivers and with those you can often get drives just about as big as you want. If you use Mint or Linux even better. If you want to get more specific on what you have or what you want to do, just let me know and I'll do my best to help.

Sadly I no longer have an ST. I do still have some SCSI
hardware though and was wondering what might work if I managed to pick up an old STFM or STE and then bought some sort of link adaptor for it.

I used to use MiNT with TOSWIN, which let me run
multiple TOS or TTP applications at the same time. I never did get a multitasking AES.

    Thanks,
