Why apalled? Probably not too many homes want old victorian style deco though. And how many can you decorate with in one setting until it looks like "too much"? I've seen some country home transform old hay wagons, industry haying rakes and even tractors as planters.
Ok. Sharing to Telegram from there will take more practice. i am actually very into the planters. It was a different redone chair I meant to show.
The seat and back were redone with old book spines. Or rather, an inch or so of the book.
