• IPv6 outbound BinkP calls?

From Jeff Smith@1:282/1031 to All on Sat Aug 19 00:47:24 2017
    Hello There,

Is there a way to force BBBS to make and outbound IPv6 BinkP connection?

Inbound IPv6 connections seem to work ok.

The last thing I heard about this was from Kim a while back when he announced Toy v4.10:

    v4.10 RSN (Toy)
Unlike previous betas Toy-3 works also with unregistered key file.
bbbsd supports incoming IPv6 connections (except for ftpd).
There is no outgoing IPv6 support yet.

    I still don't have IPv6 here so I haven't worried about it.

    Take care,
    Janis

If needed I also have BinkD running on a different port that does have both incoming and outgoing IPv6 capabilities.

    I still don't have IPv6 here so I haven't worried about it.

Back when I had a block of static IP's I had both static IPv4 and IPv6 IP's. Currently and for awhile yet I am making due with dynamic IPv4/6. With the DNS being managed via a bash script when an IP update occurs.

That's good. When we ever do get it here, I'll probably switch to that version
    of BinkD as well. :)

    Makes sense.
