    Click on this link to see a video from the flightdeck of a landing 747-400 at Amsterdam airport.

    The captain in the lefthand seat is performing his final landing before retiring ... a perfect greaser it seems to me.

    Delta Airlines phases out its 747s.

    So does KLM Royal Dutch, Air France, Lufthansa, British Airways and others.

    The end of an era.
