This is much better. I posted a test msg to you in the COOKING echo
and noticed I hadn't upgraded the cybertoast tagline creation
    function.

Yes, I noticed that you were still on the 10-year cycle for the Nov
toast on the COOKING test message.... was that because the batchfile for
it was only set for here....? At least it knew to add to my message
(and no one else's)... ;) Or was it because of using Mikey's Brain...?

Looking below I see it looks to be fixed. The function also contains
a leap year checker and should add YYYY-02-29 to the tagline when it
    is a leap year.

    Yup... :)

I caught that too late but it is fixed now. I was in the process of reviving a backup I plan to use on a new project involving android devices such as so-called smartphones, tablets and other such things I don't have any use for but what the heck.

Or was it because of using Mikey's Brain...?

No but I plan to overhaul that too once I get the new stuff off the ground. At the moment I have a regular machine more or less emulating what will soon become a wireless based fidonet communication/messaging system. Getting very close to pulling it off. :-)

And yes it can do utf8 characters. That was the first thing I checked after installing a bash enviroment on a 10" android based tablet. I still have a few issues to take care of on there but it should be online and part of the mix soonish. Right now the holdup is the keyboard that I had to search for to find one with the right keys and that is portable.

Ah.... that makes sense... so that's your evil plan...? Your neighbors
all use such devices, so you might as well experiment with them, eh...?

Better you than me.... ;) Sounds a bit complicated, but I'm sure you'll
    pull it off... ;)
