    That's exactly it. A friend of mine who is a nurse that specializes in infectious disease control told me that. She also said that gloves are not really helping things and that you're better off just to wash your hands a
    lot (not use sanitizer a lot) to make sure.

    When I go out--which is quite rare--I come home, shower, and launder my
    clothes with a little bleach. Note that I am very immunosuppressed and am
    in the "high risk" catagory so I take extra steps.

    I have heard that the main reasons the gloves don't work well is because
    (1) people don't change them often enough, and (2) because they touch their face while they have them on.

    I have been wearing gloves some, like when I go to the store, but I change
    them before I go in, take them off after the groceries are in the car, and
    then put on a fresh pair when I get home to unload the car.
