Here in the land far down under I never saw any kind of network for them. Although we had a room full of stand alone machines...

No idea where you might be, but IIc+ are only USA and hideously expensive
now. Unless you find someone who doesn't know what they have. Always been an interesting looking machine, I suspect the lack of 5.25" might hamstring it a bit... can always hang a floppy emulator off the external diskport I guess.

Indeed :/. So hard to find, too! There are a TON of //c but not +s.

I'm ok with 3.5" , but yeah I would definitely use the emu off the back port.
I might even just disconnect the 3.5" and plug the emulator inside.

If you're ok without the 3.5 it may well be a cheaper option to locate a IIc with an accesliorator in it. After all the IIc+ is essentially just a IIc
with a rocket chip (I think) and the 3.5" in place of the 5.25... I don't
think there's any significant ROM changes.

    Apple //c

I finally have one! The empty chip I have for the custom ROM replacement arrived today, too. I _think_ there are some differences, because the custom ROM for the //c+ has a lot more features than the one for the //c. Either way, this should be fun! I was thinking that ADTPro would let me just load things over serial as if it was a floppy, but instead it looks like I need actual floppies to write images to via the serial. I only have one disk right now! Next step is to get some kind of terminal program on it. I heard modem manager is the one to use.
