    As you've probably already noticed, 1.6.9 successfully passed review and now is available from Play Store.

    It was announced here by Rudi earlier this year. It is not from google play, so that may be the cause for not upgrading.

    As it already answered before - this is because you installed application outside of Play Store.
    Distributing releases via Amazon cloud storage was temporary solution to make app available while it is removed from Play Store.
