    i remember when i had frontdoor mailer boards could call and freq a file and
    it would send it to them. can this be done with the binkp or file areafix?

    The File FREQ flag support has yet to be added. So mystic does not support it yet. But it is in the g00g00 future TO-DO list. (I think). Anyway the filebone and filefix works fine. Using file TAG echo area names and nodelink file boxes.

    + The File Base editor now allows for echomail nodes to be linked to
    file bases. This works just like message bases, but for file echoes!

    + Mystic MUTIL tosser now supports FileFix. FileFix works just like
    AreaFix, except the message is addressed to FileFix and is used to
    link to configured file echos. The following commands are supported:

    %HELP - Append contents of DATA folder: filefixhelp.txt
    %PWD - Change session password for BINKP/FTP/etc
    %LIST - List all available file echos
    %LINKED - List all linked file echoes
    %UNLINKED - List all unlinked file echoes
    +ECHOTAG - Link to a file echo (+ can be omitted)
    -ECHOTAG - Remove a linked file echo

    are you looking to service inbound FREQs or to make outbound FREQs? what
    binkp mailer software are you using? if stand alone binkd, see the binkd FAQ posted in the fidonet BINKD echo... it has information for both... for other software, please be more specific ;)

    i was wondering about file echoes and with frondoor was able to get files and send files. just thinking about it right now.

    I don't think freq's work with mystics binkd/p. I'm hoping it will one day.
    It can be done with binkd and a third party app. When I ran MBSE it did do freqs, a handy thing to have.

    Mystic will do tic though, I get files from agora and fido. It wouldn't be
    hard to do that in dorenet too.. :)

    im gonna go over it with skuz and setup one file base for nodelist at least
    and infopacks
