I am not a fan of SyncTerm or Netrunner. PC Terms suck. Loading up WinUAE and using Term v4.8 and JR-Comm has become the best way to call boards.
JR-Comm is very retro, but Term can make any board look good. File transfer with Term works very nice, even when using SupraZmodem. Nothing like using the
Amiga or emulated one to stay retro, support the boards and stay off of Facebook and Twitter.

Yeah, Term is great...like that, too... :)

If you want the real retro feeling, connect via modem, not IP... ;-)

I`m writing this on an A3000 that polls to my Linux box using two Zyxel
U1496E+ modems... I like that sound of a modem when it is connecting... :-)

I can do that also, notice the phone number at the bottom? I have used
JR-Comm and C-Net's Term to call out also. I only know of two Amiga boards that offer dial up. Heights BBS and Reign of Fire. Are there other Amiga boards with dial-up that you know of?

I am using JR-Comm right now on your BBS and viewing things you have change to Skypix. Its really looking nice. It sure is a graphic that has almost been lost in time. Glad you're bring it back.

DCTelnet, JR-Comm and Term 4.8 are the 3 terminals I use on my Amiga now. It all depends on what your using it for. DCTelnet seems the most stable
for transfering files. Term is all around the best for browsing boards and JR-Comm is the only one that supports Skypix.
