    Thankyou sir.

If you do get a sec, Can you let me know a safe way to get rid of an echomail address that isnt being used. I tried to 0 out the fields but then I was unable to modify or add any new ones. had to restore the mystic.dat to get it to be able to add one again. they would say they were there but did not show up in the adr field when I polled a system. and the ones I 0'ed out were still presented as an AKA,,

I did that. It was the second one down on a list of 9 under the echomail address tab. but when I would poll a system in the polling log it would still show the address under my aka. And then I tried to add another network address in its place and to the end of the list and that address would still not show when I polled a system and returned a bad address message in the log. But I restored the mystic.dat file to yesterdays before i 0:0/0 the address and I was able to add the new address to the end of the list and connect to the network without the error.

I thought I may have did something wrong. But if thats what is suppose to be done then I don't know what the issue is.

Are you sure you zeroed them out with no spaces including the point number? Do you have a 0:0/0 address set as your primary address?

I am not able to reproduce any issue so far, so there must be something else we're missing. I still had my old SciNet address in my list so I zeroed it out quick for a test, and it properly removes it during BINKP as expected:

I did replicate the issue, but I do not believe it is Mystic bug and more of a mystic.dat file issue. I noticed that when looking at a uses flag settings they are all messed up. I might have some corruption going on. Thanks for the help though.

Yes I have the local address setup that way. The one that I removed was the one after the local. Then it wouldnt remove from polling. I did remove the last one on the list and it worked though.

Just an fyi on this. I took my mystic.dat file and put it in a fresh install of a48 and the same problems are there. even the user flags are messed up. So I guess I have a corrupted dat file. Time to make a new one. a least it is not a crazy amount of info.. :)

Did you restart mystic after saving that change in your config? Some things need the server to recycle (restart) in order to take effect.

Ya, I did. MANY times. I put the Mystic.dat file in my hex editor and seen my fidonet domain still in it. I removed that years ago. I'm just gonna redo my configuration.

Thanks for looking into that for me. It is all fixed now. I just re-input
all the info into a fresh mystic.dat file and all the issues are gone. I was cursing you when I was looking for the message quote window lightbar color settings for an hour. And then realizing the bg was not 16-23 in the fg + (bg * 16).. Thanks again. Fun Fun!!! I did find a lot of cool shit you did while I was looking for this stuff so I am happy.

I am not exactly sure. A lot of what I have in mind are large changes so I am still thinking about how I am going to tackle those things and when.

I'm open to suggestions if you have requests!

The first thing I am going to attempt is adding a 64-bit integer type and some optimizations to MPL as a smaller change. I may look into adding more echomail statistics and reporting. Smaller things like that for now while I try to sort out next steps.

I am down for that. I see you have some incorporated under networking > Echomail Nodes. Maybe have an Echomail stats on the MIS screen. like you can lightbar scroll down your nodes and see how much echomail netmail and tic has been processed. Pretty much what you have already but on the MIS screen or in nodespy? But I do like it in the system config so it can be viewed remotely also. I don't know...
