Anyone know why bbs-scene is down? I noticed it being down since late last night.

bbs-scene is a scinet network echo area gated into fidonet from Frank
Linhares aka Netsurge. He have been MIA since Fall 2013. Refer to the scinet infopack in the FDN filebone area ODDBALL INFOPACK for details about him. He disappared without saying anything. Also, his webpage http://bbs-scene.org
that might still be up had a bbslist system service. You can still access the scinet network on my board (read-only) on the MSG menu [I]ndex msg reader.
I think that electronic chicken is still running the IRC bbs-scene.org server

Sad to hear. I wanted to add SciNet to my connections :(

Anyway, maybe Frank is doing well and he'll come back around soon. At least get the system back up.

Yeah, I liked 0net and Scinet, but they both had a lot of overlap. Agoranet seems to cover all of the same topics and stable (so far)
