• Computer Security Certifications

There are three main certifications for computer security. It starts with Security+ (CompTIA) and goes on to CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) and
finally on to CISSP. If you're looking to make some good money and you're
into computer network security then "Computer Security Professional" is the
job for you. As for myself, I have done self-study and wrote an exam. For some people they learn better in a clas setting that costs them $2,000 USD,
but as for myself I'd rather save the money, do self-study, and go off to
write the exam at a proctor centre. One annoyance with certification is that you are expected to recertify every few years, and that re-cert process can
be expensive and involve a fair bit of paperwork to document that you are
still current in terms of knowledge of the field.

I hope that this sparks your imagination to go further in the field of
    computer security.

    Best regards,
